Miyazaki Green Oolong Tea is made by one of Japan's foremost oolong producers, who makes tea in Gokase, Miyazaki.
China and Taiwan are the famous homes of oolong tea, but it is produced in Japan as well, and in recent years it has drawn growing attention among Japanese tea drinkers.
This Miyazaki green oolong is marked by a bright, floral aroma and a moderate sweetness. There is almost no astringency or bitterness, and the taste is light, close in character to the oolongs called high mountain tea in Taiwan.
It comes in tea bags, which is unusual for oolong, so it is easy to use at home, at work or when you are out.
It is good when you want to refresh or to settle down.
