This tea is based on sencha from Ei in Minamikyushu, Kagoshima, blended with lemon from Hiroshima and lemon myrtle, an Australian herb.
Minamikyushu is known for the regional brand "Chiran tea" and is one of Japan's leading tea-growing areas. This sencha uses Yutakamidori, the cultivar that represents Minamikyushu. It has little astringency and a balance of sweetness and umami.
Hiroshima lemon and lemon myrtle, a herb with a fresh, lemon-like aroma, are blended into that sencha. A light citrus note runs through the sweetness and umami of the sencha.
No flavoring is added, so you can enjoy the plain, natural taste of the tea and the lemon.
It comes in tea bags, so it is easy to use at home, at work or when you are out.
Cold brewing is also recommended.
