Bulk Japanese Matcha Ready to Ship: 5 Tonnes of Domestic Matcha No.1750 in Stock

With tencha prices rising and matcha supply tight across Japan, securing volume has become the hard part for cafés, beverage brands and food manufacturers.

We currently hold 5 tonnes of Domestic Matcha No.1750 in stock, ready to ship. There is no waiting on a new harvest or a production slot. Stock is allocated in order of confirmed orders, so we recommend getting in touch early.

A proven blend

No.1750 is not an untested product. It is already sold in the United States, where it retails at just under ¥35,000 per kg. It is the same matcha we are now offering in volume.

How it is blended

No.1750 brings together shade-grown tencha from three of Japan's well-known growing regions: Mie, Uji and Kagoshima. Each region contributes its own character, and the cultivars Yabukita, Sayamakaori and Okumidori are combined to give a balanced cup.

The blend was designed from the start to work in both milk and water. The result is a smooth, creamy taste with a gentle nutty finish, versatile enough for straight matcha and lattes alike.

Tea master's review

Our tea master's assessment after tasting and inspecting the powder:

  • Excellent milling. The mill used for this matcha performs very well.
  • Fine, stable particle size. The powder is fine and consistent from batch to batch.
  • Spreads well. It disperses easily and stretches well in the cup, so a little goes a long way.
